About Us

I started Eagle & Pelican to help nonprofits and businesses leverage bookkeeping to manage and understand their finances. As a fractional CFO & Controller I observed how many organizations are hampered by inefficient bookkeeping systems that are not integrated with their higher level financial analysis.

I have worked for over 15 years with a mix of for-profit and nonprofit organizations, including my own small business. I have deep, practical experience in accounting, financial planning, bookkeeping, HR, and operations. This gives me a holistic perspective that many bookkeepers and accountants do not have.

I believe that as technology changes, the role of bookkeeper needs to change along with it to give you what is most important – clean records and reporting that give you insight into how to manage your organization.
